If you’re reading this, my guess is it’s for one of three reasons: 1. Curiosity 2. You’re thinking of selling your company or 3. You’re looking at a succession plan for your business. All good reasons. If you’ve read here, you probably know we started buying search firms, interim staffing agencies and HR solution companies in 2013. The results we’ve experienced have been phenomenal… outstanding retention, significant growth, restored profitability and a niche focus. Bottom line, as Mom taught me… it’s all about the people.

As the founder of a recruitment or HR specialty business, your legacy and your people are one of your most important treasures. At Shepherd, we recognize this and protecting your legacy is one of our hallmarks. People are always asking, “What types of firms do you buy? What industries do you look at? What cities do you want to operate in?” The truth is, none of this is important. What we care about is passion. If you love people and own your niche, we want to work with you.
